Religious places cannot be treated with such insensitivity in a constitutional democracy.

Police in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, have arrested the groom, Farman, and his maternal uncle over allegations that beef was cooked at a wedding reception (walima). The police reached the resort where the wedding was being held and had around 40 cauldrons of korma, prepared for guests, discarded.
They also seized a Scorpio vehicle, which was allegedly used to transport the meat as part of the dowry. According to the police, they received credible information that illegal beef would be served at the feast. A team immediately reached the resort, where the accused were present, and arrested them on the spot.
Charges have been filed against the accused under sections related to cow slaughter, transportation of beef, illegal sale or serving of meat in a public place, and hurting religious sentiments. The police have also named the banquet hall operator, Anees, in the case.

A newly married Muslim couple—Mohammad Talha and Farhana Begum—were allegedly attacked by a group of intoxicated youths following a road accident. Eyewitnesses claim Farhana was targeted because she was wearing a burqa. The attackers reportedly snatched her jewelry during the assault.
According to witnesses, Farhana Begum was dragged toward the SVS Hospital campus and repeatedly assaulted, suffering injuries to her ribs. Mohammad Talha and his cousin also sustained serious head injuries. Locals allege the victims’ clothes were torn and they were publicly humiliated during the attack.

Earlier it was the mosque. Now it's the madrasa. For Muslims, even teaching prayer seems to be treated as a crime.

UP- मेरठ में अवैध झुग्गी-बस्तियों का मामला-

बांस के ढांचे से एक मस्जिद तैयार की गयी है. इस मस्जिद में नमाज पढ़ने-पढ़ाने के इंतजाम है. धार्मिक पुस्तकें, रहने के इंतजाम सभी कुछ. यहां इस्लामिक शिक्षा के लिए बच्चों को लाया जाता था. मदरसे के रूप में भी इस परिसर का इस्तैमाल होता था.

बिहार के मौलाना सुबह 9 बजे तक बच्चों को पढ़ाते थे और फिर कहीं चले जाते थे. वह दूसरी बस्तियों में भी धार्मिक शिक्षण का कार्य करते थे. उनका नाम तक बस्ती वाले नही जानते. फिलहाल पुलिस मौलाना को हिरासत में लेकर पूछताछ कर रही है.

No individuals were harmed yet the judiciary denied him bail twice.
