@foidvoid Because "I've shot a gun" has the contracted verb "have" in an auxiliary role whereas verb "shot" is lexical. "I've a gun" has the same verb in a lexical role. The English ear expects lexical verbs to not be contracted in most cases.
Imagine a male feminist with indie sleaze moustache (documented phenomenon in Istanbul from your anthropological reports) who prefers matcha and on some level is ashamed to be a man so larps sensitive. Depending on individual some phenomena can be more or less pronounced. BBW is just any fat woman. As regards to bad thing... personally I see beauty in rubenesques also
BÄP talked about it in one episode, forgot which. There's a crisis of hot girls going after HERB men. It's a twisted psychological thing... I must get the herbling to be feel secure even if my vagina is not as moist. Endemic among many zoomers but I've seen a less frequent though present male version of this: seeking out BBW who is more eager to please. I've heard legends of how women of size have cultivated exceptional fellatio skills but I've yet to explore.
I'm worried for girls who get really into makeup for this reason. I like gongeous makeup when it decorative but there's girls who radically change their looks every fortnight with wigs and very complex layers and very rarely see their real selves and by extension don't know what they even really are. They're stuck in a loop of identity instability and always have the big sad. The mechanism is elusive but I know it has something to do with this. Being in this loop also pre-empts the possibility of using something like a piercing or a mask to create distance in the first place because there's no solid ground whence to proceed. My heart hurts for them but there's nothing I can do.
Prob one of the many reasons why savage cartel members get their entire faces decked out in tats. Also I've been mildly fascinated by the symbolism of the mask for this reason.. someone put it really well how ceremonial masking facilitates taboo breaking or other rituals by muting a part of entrenched personhood, wish I had saved. Also in the Bible the part where Moses had to put on the mask for the sake of others after talking to God greatly caught my interest upon first encounter
Estonian Bible translation and written standard history researchers have noted that Latvian being typologically closer to German in the first place enabled even more calquing and influence than in Estonian. Would apply in the USSR even more w Russian. Similarly in English your mind actually enters into a kind of Negro-zone if you occasionally speak in Ebonics. I've observed that Latvians are much more comfortable with using Russian casually, .lv sites had lots of Russian even in the user interface etc. When I first had to try learning Russian it was like Chinese
@eventhevowels Remember the invigorated texting strategy anecdote from main, I find this phenomenon very interesting. It'd be a superpower if such shifting of states occurred in an entirely internal manner as different circumstances arise, dynamic. The capacity for self-delusion. I want this.
