A restroom in the @UT_VAC gives a space for students to dive deeper into the conversation of anonymity behind art and demonstrates an opportunity where they can authentically express themselves without judgment.

✨ONE MONTH FROM TODAY✨
In exactly one month “Social Fabric: Art and Activism in Contemporary Brazil” opens!
The exhibition brings together the work of 10 artists who reflect upon the long-standing histories of oppressive power structures in the territory now known as Brazil.
“El Otro Lado” is a collective of 4 Mexican-American artists—Carol Bedoy, Maximiliano Cervantes, Sophie Lopez, & Jennifer Teresa Villanueva—who present stories of Latinx communities & confront exploitative histories through still life, environmental portraiture, & the archive.
📸 Next month our student organized and curated Center Space Project will present “El Otro Lado,” opening the evening of September 23rd.
