plus an abusive father is a lot more personal to ppl than supervillains with powers, obviously they’re going to relate to the victims more and dislike Endeavor for it 😭 this isn’t about “uhhh who did more crimes tho” bc it’s a story. it literally just boils down to how ppl feel

i think ppl don’t get that the reason ppl don’t forgive Endeavor, is bc there’s not really a reason for what he did that can be sympathized with. for example Shigaraki was literally groomed as a child to become the way he is while Endeavor abused an entire family for his ambition

Can you understand how people can be more sympathetic to one than the other? It’s amazing Endeavor wants to make amends, but that doesn’t mean he HAS to be forgiven, and ppl aren’t wrong for disliking him. that’s the entire point of his arc, it’s ATONEMENT, not redemption
