Namjoon talked about Jimin and “They Don’t Know About Us”

“‘They Don’t Know ’Bout Us’ was a song that Jimin really developed a lot during the process.
He would always talk about how much he had grown during that session, both in singing and in the way he wrote melodies. Before this song, me, Jimin, and the songwriters who were with us made a track called ‘Weak.’ While we were talking about what we wanted to convey, I mentioned the phrase: ‘You make me weak.’ Because, to me, that was exactly it. And actually, that phrase was directed at you all. ‘You make me weak.’ It’s something you say to someone you love. ‘You always make me weak.’ It can have either a good or bad meaning, something kind of ambiguous. Then Jimin asked me:
‘Hyung, why “You make me weak”? Why do they make you weak?’ And I replied: ‘Because they don’t know about us. They can’t know. Even I don’t fully know myself.’
As we talked about it, I think Jimin found that idea really interesting. The idea that:
‘People make me weak because they don’t know who I really am.’ The next day, Jimin and I went into separate rooms, and that’s when, probably together with DOCSKIM hyung, they took a sample and turned it into ‘They Don’t Know ’Bout Us.’
If you watch the performance, you’ll see those faces and eyes appearing on the tablets and screens. So originally, this song started out as something written for the ARMYs… but it ended up becoming a much more aggressive song, directed at outsiders who think they know about us, when in reality they don’t.”

เด็กคนนั้น เล่นเครื่องดนตรีไม่เป็นเลย และในช่วงเริ่มต้นของโปรแกรมก็ค่อนข้างเงียบ ไม่ค่อยแสดงอารมณ์

วันหนึ่ง ขณะที่เด็กคนอื่น ๆ กำลังเล่นเครื่องดนตรีของตัวเอง เด็กคนนั้นพูดกับตัวเองด้วยสีหน้าหม่น ๆ ว่า

“ผม/หนูเล่นเครื่องดนตรีไม่เป็น...”

ในตอนนั้น #Suga ที่อยู่ใกล้ ๆ เดินเข้ามาเงียบ ๆ แล้วพูดว่า

“เสียงของเธอก็เป็นเครื่องดนตรีเหมือนกันนะ [ชื่อเด็ก] แค่ร้องเพลงก็ได้~”

ทันทีที่ได้ยินแบบนั้น เด็กคนนั้นก็ ยิ้มสดใสขึ้นมาทันที และเริ่มร้องเพลงเสียงดังอย่างกะทันหัน
เป็นช่วงเวลาที่ทำให้ทุกคนทั้งประหลาดใจและซาบซึ้งใจ

วันนั้น เด็กกลับบ้านไปแล้วพูดกับคุณแม่ซ้ำหลายครั้งว่า

“แม่! ครูมินบอกว่าเสียงของผม/หนูก็เป็นเครื่องดนตรีนะ ตอนนี้ผม/หนูจะร้องเพลงแล้ว!”

เมื่อคุณแม่มาที่เซสชันครั้งถัดไป เธอเล่าเรื่องนี้ทั้งน้ำตาคลอ

เพราะโดยปกติเด็กคนนี้มักตอบคำถามของฉันสั้น ๆ เท่านั้น และแทบไม่ค่อยพูดระหว่างการบำบัดเลย
นี่จึงเป็นเคสที่มีความหมายมาก ที่ดนตรีทำหน้าที่เป็นสื่อกลางก้าวข้ามข้อจำกัดของภาษาและการแสดงออกทางอารมณ์ และดึงศักยภาพที่ซ่อนอยู่ของเด็กออกมา

พูดตามตรง ก่อนโปรแกรมจะเริ่มขึ้น ก็มีความกังวลว่า #Suga จะรู้สึกลำบากไหมกับการได้พบเด็กที่มีภาวะออทิสติกขั้นรุนแรงเป็นครั้งแรก

แต่เมื่อเซสชันเริ่มขึ้น เขากลับเป็นคนที่ เข้าหาเด็ก ๆ ในระดับเดียวกับพวกเขาได้มากกว่าใคร อ่านลักษณะเฉพาะตัวและความยากลำบากของเด็กแต่ละคนได้อย่างละเอียดอ่อน และค่อย ๆ นำพวกเขาอย่างเป็นธรรมชาติ

O flip que o Jimin executa nesse complicado é um “aerial”, uma acrobacia inspirada na ginástica e na dança em que o corpo completa a rotação no ar sem apoio das mãos no chão.

O detalhe mais impressionante é a técnica: ele ganha impulso com a corrida, usa o movimento dos braços para gerar momentum e eleva as pernas como em um cartwheel, mas executando tudo completamente no ar.

No meio do movimento, o Jimin chega a ficar totalmente invertido antes de aterrissar com controle absoluto.

É uma técnica que exige MUITO controle corporal, timing, impulso e consciência espacial, e o Jimin continua refinando esse tipo de acrobacia ao longo dos anos sem perder a leveza característica dele.
