everyone’s so shocked that the new avatar series is so “south asian” or complaining about how everyone is brown or indian like brother where the hell do you think the concept of an “avatar” came from 😭 what language do you think the word avatar comes from 😭 where do you think the seven chakras come from 😭 what do you think inspired the 5 main types of elements (including spiritual bending) 😭 what do you think combustion man’s third eye was inspired by 😭 where do you think characters like king bumi or GURU PATHIK were from 😭 what language do you think ‘agni’ in agni kai comes from 😭 literally almost all of this show’s spiritual philosophy comes from south asian cultures, more specifically indian. sorry you’re uncomfortable with seeing brown people but it’s always been weird to me that a show that is so heavily inspired by indian mythology and philosophy has had like three south asian characters and no nations have been inspired by south asia as well. it’s totally okay to critique the fact that all of this is being pushed too late into the universe (almost as an afterthought) and it definitely should have been prevalent since the original show, but it’s good that it’s being mentioned and represented AT ALL which is the bare minimum.

At the start of episode 1, how does Eren dream of the future before he has inherited the Attack Titan? Is that his future self guiding him and then erasing the memory?
“This some bullshit”
“Why is there two avatars”
Well ACTUALLY. They’re actually standing 10 toes down with the lore THEY created.
You can be mad at the direction they went but you can’t say they’re breaking the lore 😭😭 they made an explanation for the avatar cycle and yall didn’t like it.
Too bad. It was already stated Vaatu can’t be destroyed so if you do the math there’s only 1 place his spirit can go. Entire fandom predicted this 5 months ago
I’m currently rewatching Game of Thrones, and today I noticed a striking parallel between The Spoils of War and the latest House of the Dragon episode - The Dragon in Winter
I recently posted about Aegon the Conqueror’s Valyrian steel dagger lying on Aemond’s table at Harrenhal
9 years ago today, The Spoils of War premiered and showed us a later chapter in the dagger’s long journey: Littlefinger gives it to Bran, and later in the same episode, Bran passes it to Arya
A single dragon dies each season, how many dragons do you predict will die in the final season?
I noticed that so far, the dragon causalities have been very light, how many more dragon causalities can we expect next season?
I went ahead and counted every time “What would you have me do?” is asked by a character in the show and the results might surprise you
The question is asked a total of six times across 26 episodes by three different characters:
\- Viserys asks the question (3) total times in S1E2, S1E3, and S1E7
\- Rhaenyra asks the question (2) total times in S2E5 and S2E7
\- Aegon asks the question (1) total times in S2E4
So this begs the question, if Viserys has said this line as many times as anybody else in the show combined, and if Rhaenyra has only said the line one more time than Aegon has, why is this line constantly being attributed to only Rhaenyra? And why does her usage of it appear to be greatly exaggerated by the fandom? And how is this not a double standard?
George R.R. Martin was once asked which dragon he would ride if he could choose one. He picked Balerion the Black Dread. Not Drogon or the ancient Vhagar. Not one of the younger, faster dragons. Balerion. And after learning what happened the last time someone rode him to Valyria, that choice becomes even more insane. Balerion was the largest dragon in Targaryen history, old enough to remember Valyria before the Doom. Then Aerea Targaryen stole him and disappeared for more than a year.

Daemon & Rhaenyra Old Valyrian Rite Marriage.
Lets bet which of these rumored leaks might be in the final episode
In the way this show is going, all of these could be true.. theyve butchered most of it already lol
Im convinced anyone who threw hate at MJ and said peter shouldve chosen Jean, never actually watched previous movies. Coz how can u say when they used to be this cute😭 and for me MJ rejecting Peter just shows what a wholesome person she is. Imagine a star, a superhero, well respected and admired by many, came to u n told u that u r the love of his life, some would say yes immediately. But not her, coz she has always been someone who stays true to herself.
when viserys’s political party was desperately searching for the white stag to validate aegon’s claim and yet failed, just for it to show itself in front of rhaenyra. she was chosen by the gods, by the king and by the people.
