@Arhlzz it's not a mob action show it's a family/workplace drama/comedy with some of the most well written and acted characters of all time
tbh I don't think I'd have liked it at 16, but watching it now in my 30s I do think it's one of the best shows ever
revisit it when you're older
@LoopandPixels it felt crazy to me at first that so much knowledge can be stored in a like 2GB model, but tbh to store a textbook's text only takes like 1MB
@PeterHitchadins@fynnvestor true! from the original poster's other tweets I was getting the impression he didn't know that marginal tax rates only affect income above the threshold, like many people on twitter
@TheScribblerCMB the type of humour and creative writing children have because the idiosyncrasies of language are new and interesting to them is so great
@JRRStebbins nah, most of the sets are licenced properties aimed at children, that children love
and it's probably driven by child preferences tbh, as a child I wanted star wars lego more than anything else - why would I prefer a fictional universe made up by lego over one I already liked?
@dxvd123 bellingham's average game is better than pogba's average game, also he's performed better in high stakes games
pogba narrowly wins at having better moments for comps, that's all
@TheWansteadtap it's a difficult situation - the recent price rises are mostly because of minimum wage increases and employer NI increases
carers get paid more and companies pay more tax, seems progressive, but now people needing services of cheap labour (eg: elderly care) must pay more
@BuenoForMiami nowadays we think of the whole world as being divided into countries
but few people realise just how recent a phenomenon this is
before ww2, the UN, global diplomacy - empires dominated
palestine was never a country, technically, but that doesn't mean it didn't exist
@MoneyHacks16 idk, what is your point? you think I don't understand compound interest?
it's kinda irresponsible not to mention inflation when you're writing financial content for innumerate people
having Β£1m in 30 years will be like having ~Β£450k now - aka a moderate pension pot
