I’ve seen a lot of discourse on FT about whether Anderson is a good fit for United, some say he’s overrated.
The argument about his fit is about him not being a natural DM like a Casemiro, a Tchouameni, a Rodri.
However…

@Livetalkfootbal I’m all for completion, but if that’s the plan then convince Vitek to stay and do the same rather than spend money on another to do just that.
@Nuel006 Just like if they decided Anderson is worth the price tag and they pay.
And as they’ve deemed it too expensive, all the same. It’s their decision to make.
@Nuel006 That’s not an answer. But okay.
A player having a sell-on clause doesn’t mean we should be held to ransom. They bought him for less than 50m.
60m+add-ons is fair.
Greenwood has 50% sell-on clause, does that mean Marseille will sell him for 100m+?
@Nuel006@Leumaswazhere2 He is RAW. When he’s refined he’ll be more of gems than he is right now.
Second season in the PL, versatile option for Soton, played multiple roles,
Key member of the Westham team and had a specific role.
@Nuel006@nfidi120 If INEOS decides they can’t pay the 70m,
I’ won’t be surprised,
They opted out of going for their “dream” midfield target primarily because of his fee.
@Nuel006@nfidi120 Question is, is he coming to be a starter?
Otherwise, 70m for a midfielder in a relegated club may be considered too much.
But remember when few weeks ago some of us said once data leads us to a target, go for it. Y’all said NO.
@Biyo_lar I don’t understand why many of them think we just want Anderson with no backing. Nobody would dream of signing him if our data didn’t pick him or if the board didn’t list him as their dream midfielder signing.
@Nuel006 Like I’ve said before, Fernandes is a player I fancy. I see him evolving to replace Bruno when he retires or leave. But not as AM, we’ll probably shift into 433 instead of 4231.
I like Scott, but he’s not my ultimate choice, if he stays I think he’ll be the Anderson next season
