Yeah but that’s because one of our CBs pushes into the midfield, the issue with that is non of our CBs are strong enough on the ball or have the positional awareness to act as a midfielder in or out of possession. We have Mainoo, but Amorim rathers De Ligt pushes into midfield🤦🏽‍♂️.

As much as I wanted it to work, I don’t think as a football club, a tactically astute manager is gonna work for us. We need an Ancelotti/ Zidane esc manager who demands respect based on their name and accolades. A manager who players will work for no matter what.

@petesunitedPOV I think being probably our best midfielder pre bringing Amorim means he’s earned it. Scoring a last minute goal to take us through in the europa league last season also shows he’s earned it. Being our most competent midfielder on the ball means he’s earned it.
