@GregAbbott_TX If misconduct allegations or legal findings are grounds to remove recognition of historical figures, should that standard be applied consistently to contemporary political leaders as well?
Trump promised to get the US out of “stupid wars.” But now he and John Bolton are on the brink of launching us into a very stupid and costly war with Iran. Join me in sending a strong message to President Trump: The US must NOT go to war with Iran. #TULSI2020
Texas A&M left for the SEC in 2012 to 'get out of Texas’s shadow’
Since then, the Texas Longhorns have more conference championships, more NFL Draft Picks, more Playoff apps/wins, more Top 25 wins, more weeks ranked Top 5 and are undefeated vs. the Aggies.

Actually, part of what makes our flag worth wearing is that it represents a country where we have the freedom to speak out.
Representing the USA is not about being a silent mascot; it’s about carrying the weight of our values—including the right to demand that we live up to our ideals. If we only support athletes when they stay quiet, we don’t love freedom; we love compliance.
Lastly, some things are bigger than politics. Things like justice, human rights, and the freedom of expression. That’s exactly why people speak out. To suggest that someone should 'go home' for exercising their First Amendment rights shows that maybe it’s not the athlete who 'doesn't get it.
