Now I have maintained a good cgpa during my graduation have a good cuet pg score, done dissertation, published papers. But these things can get me a seat in one year pg because I was a prog student in delhi university despite working hard they are not even giving an equal chance.

DU's 24 Dec 2025 Academic Council document mentions "programme-specific priorities" but never explains what they are or how they affect admissions. The detailed framework came only after students had already chosen their 4th-year pathway.

A genuine question to @UnivofDelhi:If admissions are based on the CGPA of all 8 semesters,why is the merit list prepared by exhausting Priority 1 before Priority 2 instead of allowing all eligible candidates to compete together on merit?@Aryanmaan09 @rahuljhanslaa @ronak_khatrii

अगर नहीं तो फिर, Cirriculum में Major रखे ही क्यों है, केवल Honours ही रखें.

ये तो दो तरफा नुकसान की स्थिति है.
एक तरफ़ Major के बच्���ों को निरर्थक Research देके बोझ डाल दिए जो काम Honours वालों का है,
और अब Research करा के फिर Open Competition से Restrict भी कर रहे हैं...

@UnivofDelhi 2. Honours को Priority मिले, मिलनी भी चाहिए ��र, मेजर वालों को पूरी तरह Secondary कर देना, एकदम गलत है. Major के Top 5/10/15 Meritorious बच्चों को Open Competetion का मौका मिलना ही चाहिए.

1. ये चीज़ घोर आपत्तिजनक है, इसका न सिर्फ़ पुरजोर विरोध बल्कि इसकी वैकल्पिक सुधार हेतु भरपाई भी प्रशासन को निश्चित तौर पर करनी चाहिए.
