Besides that, East Java is very famous for batik. there are various kinds of batik in each area and batik itself has a different structure. Javanese batik has special characteristics which always have a name, use, and meaning/philosophy
East Java has many cultures such as traditional dances (reog ponorogo and others), gotong royong (meaning involving many people in work) and followed by a ceremonial feast that involves the tumpeng dish. and there are sociopreneurs activities by making eco prints from dry plants
East Java, especially Surabaya is called a city of heroes, there are many historical places such as European heritage, Chinatown as a center of trade and culture, and Arab ethnic communities. Surabaya has always been an amazing place to visit!!🤩✨
