@airindiain Just for the reference - Singapore Airlines gave USD 400 skymall vouchers in the flight to compensate for the non-working entertainment system at my daughter’s seat not too long ago. Hotel accommodation is the bare minimum all airlines provide for delays!

@airindiain How’s that going to help? The staff has ZERO authority to compensate flyers or accommodate them at hotels and / or other airline flights. ALL they reply is this is the best they can do - provide airport meal voucher (sic!)

@Biswajit43 @airindiain Sir, plenty of harassment. After paying for the exit throw seat, the counter lady didn’t want to believe that I have paid for it and didn’t want to assign the seat. I had to show the “proof of payment”.

@airindiain 4. Request for hotel accommodation - air India response, not hotels available. Will give the food voucher for Delhi airport. 5. Bought exit row seat - Air India counter person says no seat purchased. Have to provide email confirmation showing the payment done!

@airindiain Don’t even think of taking this route. Some pointers from my recent trip: 1. 6 hours flight delay - no notification. 2. Resulting connection miss - next available flight 12 hrs wait at Delhi airport. 3. Earlier flight available on Vistara - no accommodation provided.
