On 26th December, 2025, 5 Hindu houses were burned in West Dumuritala village, Pirojpur Sadar district, Bangladesh.

On 27th December, 2025, Hindu houses were set ablaze in Dumuria Village Pirojpur district Bangladesh.

On 12th April, 2025 Hindu houses were put on fire in Betbona village, Murshidabad district, West Bengal.

On 16th June, 2025 Hindu shops in Khidirpur area of Kolkata were set on fire.

Hindus in Bangladesh have no safety or security from Islamist mobs. Every few days we hear news of Hindu families being attacked by Islamist mobs, or their sons and daughters being attacked violently in public. The crime of the Bengalis in Bangladesh is simply that they are Hindus. That they have held on to the faith of their ancestors. But the situation is not much different in West Bengal either.

Far from being the Hindu homeland as was envisioned by Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee, the Hindus in West Bengal are victims of administrative apartheid. Spurred on by the appeasement politics of Mamata Banerjee’s government, the Islamists have gradually taken away entire areas from the hands of Bengali Hindus. Because of Mamata Banerjee’s appeasement politics, Bengali Hindus have been had their backs pushed to the wall - just like our fellow Hindus in Bangladesh.

Mamata’s betrayal of Bengali tax payers becomes evident from a new report by the CAG.

In a ₹100 crore scam by the TMC in Malda's flood relief funds, we find how non-existent pucca houses were recorded to usurp funds from the central government. The money that came was allotted to some accounts almost 42 times! 108 public representatives and state government employees were involved in this organised loot of funds. Funds were distributed to people who did not even apply, and there have been 6965 cases of repeated payments.

This massive corruption is not just a betrayal of the poor people to whom these funds were supposed to go to for flood relief, but also the honest and hard working tax payers of West Bengal. The taxes that are paid by Bengali tax payers is being disbursed by the central government, but these funds are being looted by TMC affiliated leaders and corrupt state government officials.
