@Pumpfun just entered the stock token meta and i think ppl are massively underestimating what $baton represents. the first stock to run being $baton isn’t random imo, baton is directly tied to the history of pumpfun and gives the market an actual ticker to express a bet on the entire pump ecosystem. this is the same reason cashcat was so interesting with robinhood, you’re not just buying another meme, you’re buying the attention surrounding one of the biggest distribution platforms in crypto. pump already has the users, liquidity, kols, fyp and mindshare, and $baton basically gets to sit at the center of all of it.
pump grows → BATON gets more attention → more ppl trade $baton → more volume → more CT coverage → more ppl discover the connection → more liquidity. the biggest thing ppl miss with these trades is that distribution is the product. a coin doesn’t need some insane fundamental thesis if the ecosystem behind it can continuously distribute the narrative to new users. cashcat became the robinhood meme, BATON has the opportunity to become the pump meme, and if pump’s stock token meta actually becomes a recurring thing, i think the first ticker to establish itself as the native pump asset gets a massive first-mover advantage.
this is basically a bet on @PumpfunEco continued growth, attention and ability to create new liquidity. imo this is the type of setup where the market looks obvious at $10m, calls it overpriced at $50m, then realizes the actual distribution behind it at $500m. size matters when the narrative has an entire ecosystem behind it.
