Great to see Emergency Service personnel out during #LondonPoppyDay.

As I discovered last year, many on the Home Front sacrificed their lives to serve and protect the domestic population. Some even volunteered on the front lines. I am glad they too are included and remembered.

Today marks the 360th anniversary of the #RoyalMarines.

Established in 1664, the Royal Marines have remained steadfast over their 360-year history thanks to the Commando mindset and commitment to their values and standards.

Our adult volunteers undertake weekly training to keep up their skills. This week they took part in a New Year's Eve themed scenario night - including extracting patients in low lighting.
