There are gay and bisexual men in every sport that exists. The reason you don’t hear about them is because they are told if they come out their careers will be destroyed and they’ll be shunned from society. Not to mention they will receive threats from deranged homophobes for the rest of their lives. They cannot exist as their true selves publicly because it’s not safe for them to do so. Hate crimes still happen. It’s awful and it shouldn’t be that way.
When heated rivalry came out I remember Hudson and Connor talking about being contacted by a lot of closeted hockey players who didn’t feel safe coming out due to the fear of losing their careers but also because of society. There are plenty of closeted athletes out there and we’ll likely never know who they are.
@itboybops You’re bragging that she was invited to one of the biggest events only for nobody to care for the song or performance. Being ignored at that scale is so embarrassing
@itboybops And yet “Wonder” failed to chart on Global Spotify, is only getting 150k streams after being performed at such a huge stage, and the album is still struggling. Shakira’s song was able to get 4M streams. Katy stays being a washed up throwback act
Ariana Grande slams the White House for using her song ‘bye’ in a TikTok of ICE agents arresting people:
“Please do not ever use my music in relation to this barbaric, inhumane, heinous nonsense”
