This week is the last week of this year’s exam season for all IB students worldwide. We had our students send us photos of sunsets on their campuses and would like to share these pictures with whoever needs it at this time to hopefully ease some of the stress this week. 🌅

Orientation is fastly approaching, and we are excited to meet the next generation of students! As we finalise all remaining preparations and get volunteers on board, we would like to share some pictures taken 2 years ago by a parent of one of our students graduating this year.

One of our students at UWC Costa Rica has kindly shared a few photos of daily life and special events that have taken place at the college within the last few of weeks. The photos depict everything from Holi, a hiking trip, Santa Ana, to snapshots of the campus and residences. 🇨🇷

Our students at Pearson College have also come back from their project week!
The ‘Sea to Sky’ project week was a road trip where students spent a couple days hammocking at the beach and then snowshoed on the other side of the island, where they went skiing and snowboarding. ⛷️

We would like to share what an extra-curricular project week can look like at a UWC college. One of our students sent us photos from her project week with the M.A.D. (Make A Difference) at @lipochunuwchk community service club which supported rural education experts in Cambodia.

This year’s orientation will be held at Thornbridge Outdoors on 12-14th July. Students and parents will have the opportunity to ask us any questions whilst getting to know each other, their second-years and UWC.

Every year, we select 50-60 students to attend the 18 colleges. To be as diverse as possible, we provide scholarships to students whose families are unable to fund their places in full.
Currently, we are still working on securing funds for a few students.
