That’s why we’re proud to support Millwood Place, a new transitional living home for young women experiencing homelessness in Columbia.

From 2023–2024, United Way of the Midlands helped:

5,863 patients receive free dental and eye care
1,378 people find housing through stability programs
4,137 students access youth education and development

Forever Forward means preparing the next generation to lead with confidence.

That’s why our Midlands Reading Consortium (MRC) launched STEM Girls, a new hands-on program in Richland One that introduces 3rd-grade girls to science, technology, engineering, and math.
