For 100 years, United Way of the Midlands has helped our neighbors build stronger, more resilient, and more inclusive communities. And it’s all thanks to supporters like you. People who are as committed to the Midlands as we are.
Here’s to 100 years and counting.
Opportunity can change everything. That’s why we launched Young Men United: to help college-capable high school students, especially young men, achieve their academic and career dreams.

For 100 years, we’ve been committed to care, committed to community, and committed to solutions. Help us continue connecting our neighbors with the care they deserve.
We may come from different backgrounds, but we share the same hopes: thriving neighborhoods, connected communities, and opportunities for every child and adult to succeed.
Here’s to 100 years of good — and the next century to come.
A love of reading can spark curiosity that lasts a lifetime, opening doors to new ideas, skills and connections. It’s the foundation for thriving in school, work and life.

In the past three years alone, we’ve invested over $4 million in affordable housing efforts, creating or repairing 408+ affordable housing units in the Midlands.
