@TheForgexx This is disrespectful to Christians and you should take this down immediately. Please know where to draw the line, you won’t dare to disrespect Islam this way
@OgbeniDipo Bro, the First Lady should be talking of FMCG at commercial scale not petty trading. Let her give them grants to manufacture at scale and employ labour by so doing. Not petty trading at this age and time. How many many people can live off micro scale enterprises now
@iamcurious00@bruno_nwogu The fallacy in your argument is that the IQ test that fellow mentioned must have been done so perfectly well because you trust his judgement. So someone tells you an instrument says people in Lagos are stupid and you don’t care to know how they arrived at that
@matt_hassler_84@bruno_nwogu we’ve not seen the instrument used and for all we know, anything might have been used. So am I wrong to question its validity on those grounds?
@bruno_nwogu@bruno_nwogu brother you might have noticed westerners attacking me for disagreeing with your post, that’s because they desperately want your post to be true. Mind you, when they unfairly profile Nigerians, they’d not make an exception to you.
@matt_hassler_84@bruno_nwogu Intelligence is too multifaceted to be based entirely on patterns and puzzles. Besides, do we know how well the respondents were sampled. Were they stratified by neighborhood, education level, income etc ?
@ArthursMar35177@bruno_nwogu I don’t know and you certainly don’t know because the informer did not say so. Till someone says otherwise, we must assume that any conclusion drawn from the study is void
@iamcurious00@bruno_nwogu You just agreed with me. As much as I don’t know these things, you do not know them as well. Now, is it justified to spread such news and draw conclusions on a population without presenting adequate evidence to back your claims ?
@iamcurious00@NITEOWL231@bruno_nwogu In that case he corroborated my initial point that if the test doesn’t take into account differing mastery levels of the language of the test, it’s intrinsically biased. If the taker fails to comprehend the task in their native language then that’s indicative of their IQ
@NITEOWL231@bruno_nwogu The bias regarding the test’s language is that if it’s not testing English comprehension, then differing mastery levels of English will impact on test performance
@eakenbor@bruno_nwogu Did it ever occur to you that their samples were skewed towards a more accessible hence socio-economically disadvantaged subgroup?, what was their sample size and how did they decide that size would represent the entire Lagos?
Please endeavor to think more critically
@bruno_nwogu Research doesn’t work like that. If it lacks rigor then it may misinform. If it misinforms then it can be destructive. Baseless facts like this taint our image abroad, we don’t need to add fuel to the disrespect directed at sub-sharan Africans
