A memorial service for Jeffrey Allen Keefover will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.

Jeffrey was born April 21, 1962, in Manhattan, Kansas to Roland Rex Keefover and Judith Elizabeth McIntyre Keefover and passed away October 1, 2026, in his home on Fort Polk, Louisiana at the age of 64. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and loved his country.

He is survived by his loyal friend who was like his brother, George Musa. Until the end, George stood by Jeffery as his friend and caregiver.

Since Jeffrey doesn’t have surviving family members, we are requesting that fellow veterans attend his service to show their support. Please meet at Jeane’s Funeral Service in Leesville on the 7th between 12:00 and 12:15 to follow in procession to the cemetery.

We also extend thanks to Allegiance Hospice for their support and care.

October 3, 1993. Mogadishu.
Two Delta snipers looked down from a Black Hawk at a crash site the city was already closing on. Super Six-Four was down. The crew was wounded. Ground forces could not reach them in time.
Master Sergeant Gary Gordon and Sergeant First Class Randy Shughart asked to be put on the ground.
Denied.
They asked again.
Denied. Two men could not hold that ground, and everyone on the radio knew it.
They asked a third time.
This time the answer was yes.
They fast-roped in with sniper rifles, sidearms, and not enough ammunition. They pulled Chief Warrant Officer Michael Durant from the wreck and set a perimeter they already knew they could not keep.
Shughart was killed. Gordon ran dry, handed Durant a rifle and the last rounds, said “good luck,” and went back in with his pistol. He was killed minutes later.
Durant lived. He later said he owed his life to those two men.
They were the first Medals of Honor awarded since Vietnam. Awarded posthumously, May 23, 1994.
They did not go down because they thought they would win. They went down because the men on the ground were still alive.

A realistic estimate to when we can start seeing this on the grocery stores shelves would be around 2030

🚨 A man walked into Night Owl Pizza and Drinks in Tempe, ordered two drinks, staged his bike at the patio exit, and rode off with the elk head that has hung on the wall since opening day.😱

Staff have the footage but no name. The system kept only the credit card number. He checked out, slipped out a door near the bathrooms, and disappeared into the night with the mount.

Night Owl sits near Arizona State University. One theory is a fraternity-house dare, but nothing is confirmed. The elk is gone, and the owners want it back.

They are offering a $250 gift card, Night Owl merch, and serious staff love for whoever helps catch this guy.

We need to have a serious conversation about overweight people flying on commercial airlines.

I’m flying on @AmericanAir and after paying extra money to upgrade my seat, I got stuck next to a man who is 300+ pounds and stripped mid flight.

None of the flight attendants wanted to confront him.

He smells like 💩 and weed.

He’s literally sitting in my seat and keeps touching me.

For context, he’s literally 300+ pounds and I’m 120.

Why does American Airlines think it’s acceptable to treat people this way?!

I tried reaching out discreetly during the flight, but they have no avenues to do that.
