@silyonu eyeSquint is when the lower eyelid and upper cheeks squeeze upwards. This is independent from how open the eyes are; and results in different possible expressions than simply closing the eyes. The name might seem inaccurate, but we are simply following the ARKit naming convention
@404_L2D@Lunar_Kirei We have seen many models missing parameters lately- many online tutorials from others are incorrect and do not match our standard
The image describes which parameters should be included, The names under the green text are required parameters for full use of advanced Bridger!
Brow Inner is best as a blendshape that disables when brow L or R go up, but is active when the brows are neutral or down.
This allows people to make a worried expression
Advanced VBridger Rigging PSA!
Many riggers offer VBridger, however they may not include all the necessary parameters in order for it to match our marketing materials and work correctly with the settings we provide with the app.
If you are meant to use any of the default save
That being said, we encourage riggers to take full advantage by using Eye Squint-
It's possible to use EyeSquint as an input to control the "EyeSmile" param for a similar result in normal models or models missing the "EyeSquint" param
Brow inner is pretty subtle
@numa_smells The only way a rig will match the marketing materials we show on steam for adv rig is if it includes the eye squint/cheekpuff etc.
Only offering mouths is otherwise fine if it actually includes all the mouth params.
We've seen too many rigs lately that only use a couple params
@Novanertia@synckage1 You can check your model's parameters in VTS by using the expression editor. Depending how they've named the parameters, you may or may not be able to search for them.
If the model is organized, the mouth parameters should all be next to eachother when scrolling the param list
a unique settings file from your rigger every time
So!
If you are seeking VBridger, make sure to ask about what is included with their rigging and compare their work samples to other VBridger samples.
Just because they might say VBridger doesn't always mean they rig correctly
Be weary of riggers advertising expressions as vbridger;
VBridger is not designed to trigger "expressions" or emotes based on standard tracking, it is only designed to improve face tracking and lip sync.
expressions can be triggered with VBridger; however that would require
