Big-time award for Vic Rodriguez as he was named the Rimington Award winner as the top center in Division III. Couldn't happen to a better person. Thanks for all you do for HSU football.

We celebrated a summer of hard work, but the best part was celebrating one of our own, Anthony Saenz.
Anthony’s journey since his accident has been nothing short of inspiring. His fight, his faith, and the strength of his mom remind us what being a family is all about.
@CoachCapaldo Thats an adjustment we’ve done. But we do it mainly when we face basically a bear front. We still want true GT action if possible. Our C proved in the spring he can do it no issue
And absolutely true if he can’t block back on a 3!!! There is the issue of more space than block back on a 1 or 2i which makes it a little harder, but it is completely possible.
Can’t allow a ln even defensive front dictating who can & can’t pull in your blocking schemes!
@V_Rod13 Thank you! Unless stunting, that 4i should work flat down the LOS with the pullers, working back towards the center. The center just needs to get in the way and keep him from getting all the back to tackling the counter. This is a very common thing to do w/ GT!
