Welcome to #AVCN26.
We are honoured to host participants from Republic of Congo, Mali, DRC, Burundi, Ghana, São Tomé & Príncipe, Egypt, South Africa & Sudan, together with expert faculty sharing knowledge to strengthen evidence-informed immunisation decision-making across Africa
The São Tomé and Príncipe NITAG team at #AVCN2026 in Cape Town, South Africa. Est in 2026, NITAG-STP brings together experts in paediatrics, epidemiology, statistics, health economics, maternal and child health, pharmacy, laboratory sciences, vaccinology, and public health.
A single tree cannot make a forest. A recurring message at #AVCN2026 has been that the knowledge is already in Africa. We are reminded that we have far more in common than what divides us. That coming together is not only about learning from experts, but learning from one another
NISH, in collaboration with the Ghana Ministry of Health, Ghana Health Service/EPI, WHO AFRO, UNICEF, and partners, supported a national training initiative focused on strengthening Evidence-to-Recommendation EtR and VPOP capacity in Ghana
