Rest in peace, Paul Di'Anno... thank you for setting into motion, the legacy of Iron Maiden.

Now rest on earth, while your spirit runs free...

Monday 21st October 2024

We are all deeply saddened to learn about the passing of Paul Di'Anno earlier today. Paul's contribution to Iron Maiden was immense and helped set us on the path we have been travelling as a band for almost five decades. His pioneering presence as a frontman and vocalist, both on stage and on our first two albums, will be very fondly remembered not just by us, but by fans around the world.

“It’s just so sad he’s gone,” comments Steve Harris. “I was in touch with him only recently as we texted each other about West Ham and their ups and downs. At least he was still gigging until recently, it was something that kept him going, to be out there whenever he could. He will be missed by us all. Rest in peace mate ⚒⚒.”

We were very grateful to have had the chance to catch up a couple of years ago and to spend time with him once more. On behalf of the band, Rod and Andy, and the whole Iron Maiden team, we extend our deepest sympathies to Paul's family and close friends. Rest In Peace Paul.

A rock band is performing and the singer sees a kid with a banner asking to play guitar with them. The singer asks him:

- Do you really know how to play guitar?
- Yeah!
- What's your favorite band?
- Guns N' Roses

What happens next is incredible.

A band need not split because one of the members moved to a new city/state.

You can do what we did... continue as a "virtual band" and still release awesome new music like this..

Our new album, Shadow Puppet is a story of mystery, inner conflict, battle with one's subconscious, and a sweet resolution at the end, all written in an anonymous diary hidden away in an attic. We loved this story n thought it'd be best retold as a Metal Musical.

Living 2,000 miles apart did not stop us from composing music remotely (Zoom, Google Drive), all while juggling a ton of life events... It just took longer

It wasn't easy, but we released 2 out of 7 songs from our album
