Racism doesn’t survive because Black people TALK about it, but because white people, practice, protect, excuse, and benefit from it.
This is why white people are just as racist in 2026 as their predecessors were in 1960.
I still DO NOT understand how so many of you were hoodwinked into believing the government should not use the money you pay in taxes to create a social safety net that benefits you, fund public healthcare, lower housing costs, and make daily life more affordable.

Is this look Sam Barclay had while listening to Stained Glass Eyes guilt for being part of Claudia's death because IT SHOULD BE. Get this guy out of here.
The entire sequence w Akasha & that monologue. Oh my God! The crashing music was perfect too. I keep rewatching it. Sublime Chaos. And I'm up in the air spinning like Lestat. Actually, "I Can Arrange It!" sends me into the stratosphere every single time.

@bambooacrobat@Charl3sZ@ukedulac Jfc it's an adaptation-an amazing one. Every main character u listed the actors have enriched the book ones espclly Louis. Jacob's Louis is 10000x better than book or film Louis. We're on S3 & some of u lames r still on abt "race swapping." And "marble to bronze." Good grief.
akasha’s talking about multiple things at once but what says is the 6,000 years of femicide and misogyny, (e.g women being stoned, men “breaking” women, misogynistic religious doctrine) and the only feasible way to eradicate misogyny is to eradicate men.
@XBurntSushiX @ladyvampiraa Ur really just stuck on white-wanting her to b white. Anne loved Aaliyah's portrayal as did most evry1 else. I'd say that cemented Akasha as Black. Back when I read the books I imagined Akasha & Enkil Black anyway. Also Louis is Black & he's a 10000x better than book & film Louis.
