Thank God someone finally said it. Revolutions have a way of dismantling old chains only to forge new ones. Without gradual reform, a revolution becomes a real-life retelling of Animal Farm by George Orwell.
Assad was bad but what is coming (ISIS in Syria) is even worse. similarly in pakistan the current regime is terrible but what is coming could be even worse.
this is because revolutions simply replace one form of oppression with another

@AroojFatima1017 It might look like it, but Pakistan isn’t a banana republic. Its a nuclear state. Its strategic importance means countries like China, the US, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and India have directly stakes here. So dont worry. if Cold War couldn’t shake Pakistan, nothing else will.
@AroojFatima1017 Well... Pakistan aligning with ISKP is unlikely:
1. Pakistan condemns terrorism, fights it domestically.
2. ISKP is a terrorist threat to Pakistan.
3. Risks regional instability, backlash from Afghanistan, Iran, India.
4. Against Pakistan’s policies, it can't make more enemy.
