@thatstarwarsgrl Slowly but surely Nolan is being exposed as a fake. He had luck in his early movies when he collabed with other writers.
But Nolan dislikes myths, and is obsessed with realism. Movies are not real. He won't even do a well made CGI sequence. He has no respect for Greek mythology.

The Odyssey Week 2 Box Office will be determined by word of mouth and audience reviews.

The movie needs minimum $800 million to break even. Make it's budget. And payout theaters.

1 billion may not even be a great profit.

@The_Epic_Mike Nolan was the not the right person to bring this epic myth to the big screen today. From the sound of it, him juggling to avoid the mythic and magical parts shows his contempt of the material. Whatever he liked about the story was probably not even linked to a love of myths.
