🚨 Never hold large amounts of assets on a hot wallet.

Yesterday, SecondFi (formerly Yoroi, a long-trusted Cardano self-custody wallet) confirmed a breach: ~374 wallets drained, 16M ADA confirmed gone.

Luckily, the team has taken emergency measures to secure users' funds and is working to ensure all assets are returned to affected users as soon as possible.

How did this incident happen? These users held their own keys.
What reportedly failed was key generation itself — weak randomness made private keys guessable.

That's the gap a hardware wallet closes.
