@melissa26005476 Thanks for your volunteering, this bot could never have had the reach it did without volunteers like you. When I started this bot I feared that I wasn't doing enough to address the technology barriers inherent to the vaccine rollout. Volunteers like helped alleviate my worries!

@Agworldman I figured that a regional Twitter bot was a nice balance where all the information would be relevant and actionable while being broadly accessible. It also avoided privacy issues collecting email or phone numbers to maintain a text or email based system.

@Agworldman I'll be monitoring for whether the under 16 or vaccine boosters will require a reboot of this tool. My sense is that at least for under 16 it's likely to be less of an issue, since it will be possible to stockpile enough vaccines in advance of eligibility given current demand.
