And when you pray tonight…pray for the right direction. Nothing is more depressing than moving and not getting anywhere.. you will move and never reach your destination because you don’t know where you’re going. May God lead you in the right direction so you can flourish.
And when you pray tonight…pray for the ability to applaud yourself. You’ve done so much for yourself and you need to congratulate yourself. Do not wait for someone to give you flowers..you’ll wait forever. Be your biggest cheerleader. Never underestimate how far you’ve come.
And when you pray tonight…pray for your support system. The people who have been on your side even on your darkest days are a blessing. We all have problems but for people to take some time off to be there for you is a very big deal. Not everyone had that, I hope you cherish them
And when you pray tonight…pray for better days. You might not be feeling your best right now and everything seems to be out of place. Nothing makes sense, it seems like you’re losing your mind. It will not last forever, this too shall pass. Better days are coming.
And when you pray tonight..for the ability to pray even when you don’t have the strength to do so. There so many unknown battles that need to be won. Prayer will shield you at all times.
People will call you ordinary, average, nothing special. If you accept that name, then you’ll become ordinary, average, nothing special. God calls you a masterpiece.
Sometimes we feel like we have no more: no more strength, no more vision, no more health. When you come to the end, that’s when God steps in. He won't just help you get through it; He says, “I’ve saved the best for next.”
God is waiting for you to rise up. That may mean to forgive, to have a new mindset, to get rid of the bitterness, to not accept defeat and mediocrity as your destiny, to have a new vision. You can break that negative cycle.
Your scars can be a reminder of the pain, or they can be a reminder of the grace of God. Are you at peace with your scars? Those scars are not there to depress you; they are there to encourage you. They are reminders of what God has brought you through.
