It's not just the education system. The newspapers are also failing. There are members of my family who know little to nothing about this stuff, because they rely on the NY Times and other legacy media for information. And the legacy media not only avoids these stories, it calls people like Mohamed Soltan human-rights advocates.
People get busy with work or family or whatever, and they don't pay much attention. The major news outlets are failing us.
It's frightening.
And just to add, I'm not Jewish and I'm a Zionist.
@Sarahsa09309757 Adding my contribution to your feed. I'm not Jewish, and not only do I think Israel has a right to exist, I think the world NEEDS Israel.
@LizaRosen0000 Show this to an ardent feminist draped in a keffiyeh and she’ll blurt out something about Israel and genocide.
I’m otherwise almost at a loss for words here. The only thing I can think of to type is that I’m a non-Jewish Zionist.
@rich_toronto Hi Rich, I’m sorry about what happened at your son’s school and afterward. I’m so sorry. All I can say, not for the first or last time, is that I’m not Jewish but I’m a Zionist.
@AnitaBart I wish I could believe that, but I can’t. I won’t believe it until they start voting against this lunacy. Until then, the speeches are just more hollow words. Their base is still way too invested in the lies for them to actually vote for what they say to get votes.
@AskCapitalOne Sorry, but it’s the experience I have. The Eno app was essentially perfect. Having to use your app and even the website if I have to change an auto-lock date adds too much unnecessary friction. I’m now less likely to create new virtual cards. I can’t understand why C1 did this.
@AskCapitalOne@jamesburt The new system is a pain. Eno was easy. I’m already using a different credit card to pay for things. I can’t even change an auto-lock date in the app. Why did you discontinue Eno? My only guess is that you don’t actually want people to use virtual credit cards.
@EyeOnStalk@jessesingal@CathyYoung63 The schools are only part of the problem. The families are another part, as NHJ proved so eloquently when she told us that she didn’t notice her daughter wasn’t learning until she was nine.
Woke education philosophy (from the layers above the teachers) is also a huge problem.
@NEWSneil I’m so sorry you had to go through this.
In your video, I saw the mobs of yesteryear reborn: in Germany in the 1930s, in Lithuania after the Nazi invasion, in Little Rock in 1957.
There’s no rage quite like the ignorant rage of people who choose to be dimwits.
