@HistoryFactou@kenkenlewu Her sister would relieve her with some duties , her sister would assist in cooking and washing her clothes, would cleanup after her self not some entitled àgbàlagbà
Don’t worry about being popular and loved by the masses. If you choose to get closer to the Almighty and live a life of obedience, you’ll find yourself walking alone mostly. It may seem daunting and frightening at times. But don’t worry. He’s your Guide and Protector.
The restaurant owner: Ha, thank you very much sir. I was confused the moment she slumped that I got confused of what to do. Taking her to hospital didn't even come to my mind. I was just so confused. 😭
Me: Well, i understand. I was confused too but I had to think outside the box when all the available options weren't working.
The restaurant owner: Thank you very much sir.
Me: It's ok. What about her husband if I may ask?.
The restaurant woman: Hmm, her husband is not in the country.
Me: If her husband isn't around then she should get a maid.
The restaurant woman: Hmmm. It's a long story. She's the one doing it alone.
Me: I don't understand why she's the only one taking care of the child they brought to this world together.
The restaurant owner: The man is just there like he's not there.
Me: You need to tell your neighbor the truth. She needs to take things slowly.
The restaurant owner: I hope she listen.
So about forty minutes later, the Doctor incharge told us we can see her that she's stable.
So we went to the room she was admitted to see her.
When we got there, the first thing she asked the restaurant owner was her son.
The lady: Where’s Ayomide?.
Me; Madam, you need to calm down. I overheard your conversation ealier at the restaurant when you told your neighbor (restaurant owner) that your little soldier doesn't allow you to rest. See, you need to prioritize yourself. I know it's your child and you dont have anyone to look after him but then you need to take things easy.
You just survived a serious accident. Imagine what happened to you today happened in the market or where you have no one to look after you, what do you think will happen to you?.
The lady: Thank you sir. But there's no one to look after him.
Me: So because there's nobody to look after your son you should die?.
The lady: 😭😭
Me: I know raising a child alone isn't an easy task but you need to take things slowly. You need to be alive for this boy and the only way you can achieve that is prioritizing health first.
The lady: Thank you sir. 😢
See enh, you all women need to prioritize your health.
The truth is that, as a wo(man) the moment you cross into thirty five, your body isn't the same again.
Unfortunately, it's difficult for many of us to admit this truth.
It's even worse for women because of child birth.
Combining house chores with child care isn't an easy task.
It can run somebody mad. 😭
It's why I tell women to do whatever they can do and leave the rest.
If you are a woman or a stay at home mum, please learn to prioritize your health. You only have one life to live.
Gone are the days you women overwork yourself because of your kids or husband.
If you can outsource the task, please do.
If you die or slump while catering for your kids or husband, life will not pause for you. In fact, your husband may marry another woman and your children will still grow up to become whatever God wants them to become.
Yes, they may have delays or not be properly cared for as much as you will do it but then they will not stop living because their mother isn't no more.
As a father, if you know you will not be available to take care of your kids or give your wife a helping hand in raising your kids, please provide alternative.
Raising a child alone isn't a child's play.
Being a father goes beyond answering a father.
You have to be present in the life of your child physically, emotionally, financially and spiritually.
Women, stop over using yourself for your family.
You will be surprised how life moves on quickly without you.
@highlight Please share this post widely so that our women especially stay at home mum can learn one or two from this.🙏
