@Matema_ It's ok to have your kid call you out when you make a small mistake. Scolding a kid for correcting/recognizing your mistakes shows your insecurities and the kid to stay quiet when stuff like this happens in the future. They're not being disobedient, you just burnt the food.

@FerretsCantGame @FinesseEness Lice stinks. They couldn't do that with me and my sister, no matter what they did we still had lice. If we where left home to cure it we would have missed years of school. They tried everything, they even dyed and used bleach in our hair. Nothing worked until we left that school.
