K lesson: (maybe to ease your mind a little) but potential trigger warning ⚠️weight science⚠️

So in Korean, 살 (sal) means flesh or fat
They have more science-y terms for each like
근육 - muscle
지방 - fat
But in every day in every day usage they will use 살

The issue with translations is that 살 빼야돼 is commonly "I need to lose weight," but weight and 살 are not a one-to-one match. Weight encompasses everything from skin, water, muscle, fat whereas 살 has a more flexible definition and usually only refers to fat, skin, and water. So when San and Hongjoong say they need to lose weight, they don't really mean muscle weight (case in point bc Hj tries pinching San and muscle doesn't pinch which is why Hj said you don't need to lose anything).

That's not to say that they should lose weight of any kind, but I hope people understand that Korean and English isn't a one-to-one language so they don't mean shrivel up like a decrepit raisin type of lose weight. They probably mean lower their fat percentage while retaining muscle.
