Because there has been countless times where this happens. ARC raiders with its AI controversy, hogwarts legacy, CP2077, No Man Sky.

If the game is good it will sell well and get good reviews

I am not entirely pro-AI, but I am comfortable with people using it in reasonable and acceptable ways.
