@__dylanward Sorry you experienced this. This summer a driver hit my son's stroller and took off without stopping. I couldn't believe it had to be reported in person instead of online/on the phone. Debated going because of the inconvenience. Still haven't heard back.
@shoshannasaxe We’ve stopped going to this park, even though it’s closest to us, because it’s littered with dumped, broken toys and small pieces of plastic. Feels dirty and unsafe for my toddler. Can’t believe @cityoftoronto lets it continue.
If "living with COVID" means: everyone has 💉 access (including 0-5 yo), widely available paxlovid, free N95s & rapid tests, subsidies for ventilation & filtration upgrades, CO2 monitors & paid sick leave, then I'm in!
@BenSpurr@nickhunebrown Do you know why their website says 3+ months for boosters for anyone 18+ when this isn't in line with anything we've seen the province/Medical Officer promote?
This was my immediate fear when @VaxHuntersCan started picking up steam. The government didn’t see it as embarrassing that volunteers could get people vaccinated faster than they could, instead they saw it as an opportunity to not do their jobs or fix a broken system. Sigh.
@Baileymariereid That awkward moment when they ask Covid screening questions at the doctor and you’re like, “I’ve felt basically all of those things but I think it’s just pregnancy?”
Omg @Jay_Pitter with a nonstop list of actions and how-tos for non-Black planners on this @canurb panel:
- if you haven't been doing equity work up until this moment, kindly step out of the way
- collaborate? yes! how? don't call Black people you've never met!
