You know what? Go for it. If you want to pay some moron $500 PER HOUR to help your game appeal to an audience that doesn't exist, that's your prerogative. Just don't act surprised when your company goes bankrupt.
A reminder that The Outer Worlds 2 tried to charge $80 after Mario Kart World and it got mocked so hard they dropped it back down to $70
A lot of game companies are in for a rude awakening when they realize how few games people will tolerate at $80
they ruin gears of war, call of duty, god of war, spiderman, wolverine....
AND THEY SAY WE DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT IT.
😭 FUCK YOU LMAOOOOO
This is our hobby, nigga. You're not part of it.
Interesting to see a new type of horror fan take shape. Horror as "comfort food." They want their horror to be wholly "unproblematic," for everything on screen to align with their view points, and for it all to be safe, cozy & clean-spirited. But horror is not safe! By design!
Its kind of funny how people will put up with trial and error for souls games and their difficulty but for an NES game "we gotta have an uncomfortable conversation"
@Pirat_Nation If it is so important to them, why don't they raise their prices themselves and lead the charge? Price Kingdom Come Deliverance III at $100 or even raise prices now on KC2.
Have some scrote and actually do it yourselves. Don't hide behind Rockstar and GTA 6 to do it for you.
>Makes game
>Prices it at 60 bucks
>Sells well
>Could've sold better if they hadn't gone full retard online on launch week but still sold well
>Made Profit
>Wants more money anyway
How about no? lol
I don't understand why you're all so desperate to lose money. It won't be just you raising the price of your game.
Your competitors will too and you'll all choke eachother out as players become even more selective with how they spend their money, skipping your games at launch and then carrying on skipping them later until they see it on sale because the novelty and launch hype are dead.
This is the easiest sinkhole to spot and avoid but you're all marching towards it.
@Pirat_Nation The industry is already facing mass layoffs that get more and more frequent each year, but sure, raise the prices.
I can't wait to see more shitty studios close their doors. This industry has been needing a new crash for a long time now.
@Pirat_Nation And when I say that, I don't mean GTA VI is better than most other games. What I mean is GTA VI is insanely anticipated and has a fanbase of braindead cult-like supporters.
Rockstar can charge them for a trailer and they gladly pay fo it. Not every game has that kind of pull.
