Das ist kein Einzelfall. Das ist ein Staat, der nach der Tat das Opfer kleinrechnet und den Täter weiterfinanziert.

Said Abdelrazek
Converted from Islam in 2016. Fled to Russia, joined the Orthodox Church, and was deported back to Egypt in 2024. Security forces disappeared him, forced the removal of his cross tattoo, and suspended him in a mock crucifixion. He was arrested again in July 2025 after trying to change his official ID to Christian. He is now held in 10th of Ramadan Prison on fabricated terrorism charges, denied medical care and family visits. His next hearing is October 21, 2026.

Dr. Augustinos Samaan
Coptic scholar and YouTuber with more than 100,000 followers. Arrested in October 2025 for teaching Christianity online. Reports say he was tortured, starved, and burned with cigarettes. He was sentenced to five years of hard labor for “contempt of religion.” His mother died after his first appeal was rejected.

His case now goes to a higher court on November 15, 2026.

🙏Pray that the Court of Cassation sees the injustice and sets him free.Egypt claims to protect the “divine religions,” yet Christiansabout 10% of the country keep paying this price.

Where is the global outcry?
Egypt has taken almost everything from them except for their faith and lives which their holding on to daily.

Articles 52 and 55 of Egypt’s own Constitution forbid torture and demand that detainees be treated with dignity. Those protections look empty in the cases of Said Abdelrazek and Augustinos Samaan.
