How to use Vanta VPN (Video Tutorial)
Vanta VPN works. No waiting, no promises. Our tech is delivered and working out of the box, Day One. We're the FIRST working dePIN project on Robinhood Chain.
But that doesn't mean the work stops here.

Robinhood Chain is where ETH or USDG moves to Vanta’s payment wallet. That movement proves you paid. It does not carry your browsing. Your maps, mail, and video do not “go through Robinhood.” They go through the city tunnel. If someone says the chain is the VPN, they have the layers backwards.
• Chain = receipt
• City = path
• Browsing never rides the payment network
A handshake here is not a secret greeting. It is the city accepting the public key (or V2Ray id) you just created and returning the missing pieces of a working config: addresses, ports, the city’s public key. Until that finishes, you have a payment, not a tunnel. Retry setup repeats the city step without taking a second payment.
• Payment first, then city answers
• Config pieces come back to your device
• Retry setup is the same receipt
When a centralized VPN has a bad press day, every user is in the same boat: same company, same servers, same story. A decentralized protocol spreads that risk. Independent operators run the machines. Vanta is the marketplace and the handshake, not a sticker on one cloud bill. If a city misbehaves, you leave that city — you do not have to leave the whole internet privacy idea.
• One scandal should not take down your whole privacy setup
• Cities are independently operated
• You choose the door; you can choose another
Centralized VPNs love the word “unlimited.” The fine print is a fair-use cap, a speed drop, or a support ticket. Vanta VPN does not pretend. You buy gigabytes. You see the location price and the Vanta fee before you confirm. Unused months do not exist here because we do not sell months.
• “Unlimited” is often a throttle in disguise
• Vanta shows the number before you pay
• Pay-as-you-go fits real life better than a forgotten plan
Café tables share one router with strangers. A big-brand VPN encrypts you toward their own building. That building is still theirs. Vanta VPN treats cities as independent doors. If Zurich is busy, you pick another city. You are not married to one company’s rack in one region.

• Shared Wi-Fi is the problem; one mega-VPN is not the only answer
• Independent operators run the cities
• Failure is local: one city, not the whole product
VPN that emails ‘we miss you’. A protocol should not miss you. Your gym already does that. Gigabytes do not send feelings. If a protocol emails that it misses you, it is a subscription with feelings. Gigabytes do not have feelings. Enable them in the airport, then let them end.
• Protocols should not miss you
• Auto-renew is the feeling engine
• Gigabytes end on purpose
Airport ‘free premium’. If it is free and premium, it is a trap with good graphic design. Buy a city for the layover. Do not buy a personality. Big-brand VPNs put a crown on this trap and call it premium protection.

Independent cities do not need a crown. They need you to pay for the layover data and keep the keys.
• Free-plus-premium is a trap with good design
• A layover needs data, not a personality
• Pick a live city before you board
Airport terminals love open networks. Centralized VPNs tell you to “just connect to us” and hope their app is honest. You still trust one firm with the keys, the logs policy, and the uptime.

Vanta VPN is different: you see the location price, pay for the data, and import a setup file into WireGuard or V2Ray. The payment is a receipt. The browsing does not ride that payment network.
• Centralized: trust the app store listing
• Vanta: quote, pay, handshake, then a direct tunnel
• ETH or USDG on Robinhood Chain — not a mystery card charge

Hotel Wi-Fi called Hello1234. The password is on a card next to the muffins. Everyone in the breakfast room is on it. A yearly VPN still billed you in March for this muffin moment. A centralized VPN would still auto-renew you for the muffin hour you already survived.
Vanta VPN would have sold you a city for the breakfast Wi-Fi and then gone quiet. That is the whole product, told as a joke so you remember it.
• Hotel muffins are public; your session should not be
• Yearly seats bill the breakfast you already finished
• Vanta: city for the Wi-Fi hour, then silence
The control plane is the website: sign-in, directory, quote, payment check, handshake request. The data plane is your device talking to the city after that.

Once the tunnel is up, Vanta does not need to carry your packets. If a product cannot tell those planes apart, it will confuse a checkout with a VPN.
• Control plane: shop and receipt
• Data plane: device ↔ city
• We step out of the packet path after setup
When we say the private key stays on your device, we mean the WireGuard secret is created in your browser and is not uploaded to Vanta as a backup. We only send the public half so the city can complete a handshake. If a company needs your private key to “help,” they are asking to be you. We do not.
CA: $VVPN 0x27E4d32711C73D4F9E1ec0679c0766c3279f792a
• Keygen on the device
• Public key only for the handshake
• No private-key support recovery, on purpose
Hotel Wi-Fi is a shared hallway. A centralized VPN still funnels everyone through that company’s own servers, which is better than the lobby router — until that company logs, throttles, or goes down. Vanta VPN lets you pick a live city run by an independent operator. The keys for the tunnel are created on your phone, not in a corporate dashboard.
• Lobby Wi-Fi should never see your real session
• One company’s farm is still a single choke point
• Vanta: city you choose, keys you keep
Monthly VPNs count on you forgetting the subscription. You pay for twelve months, use it on two trips, and the rest is idle. A centralized provider still bills you because the product is a seat, not capacity.
CA: $VVPN 0x27E4d32711C73D4F9E1ec0679c0766c3279f792a
Vanta VPN quotes a city and a number of gigabytes before you confirm. When you are home on a network you trust, you simply do not buy more data.
• Centralized: auto-renew is the business model
• Vanta: gigabytes, shown before you pay
• Idle weeks do not keep charging you
WireGuard is the default tunnel on most Vanta VPN setups. It uses modern building blocks: a small handshake, fast encryption, and keys that fit on a line in a text file.
You import that file into the official WireGuard app. The website cannot become a VPN by itself. Browsers are not tunnels. That is why we hand you a file.
CA: $VVPN 0x27E4d32711C73D4F9E1ec0679c0766c3279f792a
• Small, auditable tunnel design
• Import into WireGuard on your OS
• The site is the shop; the app is the tunnel
A typical VPN is one company renting a warehouse of servers and selling you a monthly seat. If that company has an outage, a policy change, or a billing fight, every customer feels it at once. Vanta VPN is a decentralized private-internet protocol: independent operators run real machines in real cities, and you buy gigabytes when you actually need a private path. That is a marketplace, not a logo on someone else’s cloud account.
• Centralized VPNs: one company, one policy, one outage
• Vanta: pick another city if one door is full or offline
• You pay for data, not a year of unused months
