Employee A is a solid performer and asks for a 10k salary increase.
But they're already at the top of the salary band, so it's not possible.

@kxnesha Thank you for saying that! Ive always been candid about my experience but was pretty nervous about sharing it on camera. Hearing that it resonated makes it all worthwhile. Wishing you the best of luck on your journey ✨
Daily walks in the morning (instead of forcing myself to step outside at the end of the day) are a whole different vibe. Can’t quite put my finger on why, maybe because it makes me feel less rushed, starting my day by making time for myself instead of jumping straight into work.
As a recovering workaholic, Im still wrapping my head around what it means to have WLB…a social life? Hobbies? Travel? Binge watching? Clarity because I’m not rushing from one thing to the next? Having time to just BE…w/o feeling guilty? Sleep? The possibilities are endless 😭

So frustrating! When I was vetting advisor I was disappointed by how many use scare tactics. Especially since I led with areas I know I need to improve…you don’t have to convince me I need help, I’m already here…
Last month I hired a financial advisor, but I always felt he was condescending when giving me advice. So this morning I let him know I’d prefer to not continue our financial journey together. His response let me know I made the right decision in firing him. 😂
Blocking off your calendar to allow you to have Focus Time outside of your barrage of meetings is great, but sometimes I really struggle to focus when I finally make it to that block of Focus Time. No one talks about that.
