A 19-year-old girl was abducted and gang-raped by 3 youths in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand.

Police arrived to arrest them; the accused fired in retaliation and cops shot one in the leg and arrested all three.

Next day, during crime scene recreation, two of them fled custody — but were caught and beaten by Hindu groups.

Indian men's limited overs team is currently lacking Good finishers and allrounders. Axar, Washi, Dube & Nitish all are 25%-50%. Hardik is the only 100% one. We must not play with half allrounders, instead find 100% batsmen & bowlers.

@BCCI If we don't have 100% allrounders, then keep 100% batsmen and bowlers. Half allrounders might win you a match in 100s but will make you loose majority. @BCCI it's high time we give Jaiswal and Kuldeep long run in all 3 formats (min 15 per format)

@BCCI Indian team's current problem is mid-lower order Finishers & Allrounders. Only 1 complete is Hardik, others like Dube, Akshar, Washi are 25% allrounders; neither this nor that. Will they win you last over 18 runs with bat or even with ball. We need likes of yuvi, raina, dhoni.

@BCCI Why @imkuldeep18 is not playing. After ashwin, he is our next best. He could have played all formats all matches for any other team for the last 8+ years; this is not becoz Indian team has competition, it is becoz he has not been managed well. Driest wicket, kuldeep still not!

@BCCI Just add Jaiswal for 1 of those 3 gr8 allrounders, for 15 games, and see the difference of consistency in our scores. And add Kuldeep for another allrounder for 15 games and see the difference in middle over wickets count.

@BCCI If we are insecure about our batsmen & bowlers, & need to pick 3 nothing allrounders, why our experts brag abt India's bench strength! In Virat's captaincy, we had proper bowlers & batsmen. Other than @imVkohli nobody seems to be hungry for victories; body language of others!

@BCCI 3 world class allrounders Dube, washi and axar today showing the world their value again & again! India with strongest bench have produced these 3 finishers, the place that belonged to very poor finishers like yuvi, raina, dhoni, bevan, Hussey! Our bench is half-baked.

@BCCI @akshar2026 Even with 4fer, I still feel Axar is not playing at his best since a long time now. His bowling is very plain and 6 hitting freebies His batting has become almost nothing.
Better go with @imkuldeep18 , he will win you matches in just one over. Washington must go away as well.

@BCCI Look at Prasidh Krishna's status in T20 internationals. 8 matches 11.2+ economy. Only Avesh can compete with that. If India has a huge bench strength, then do we need to persist with no match winning performance players who are very inconsistent? Need consistent performers.

@BCCI All inconsistent performers in the team. Some are not international level players. No real spinner, Kuldeep is best after ashwin, and he is not selected due to batting. 3-4 nothing allrounders, Prasidh needs 2+ years, never perform. Ruining Jaiswal's career. Shreyas ODI not T20.

@BCCI @RajalArora @ShreyasIyer15 Looking at the changes post wc win, it can be said with surety that @imVkohli 100 times better than Sanju, Tilak and Shreyas. @Vaibhavsooryava is too junior and @imVkohli is too senior, so we are ok with mediocre players becoz there will be no "star"; GG's god-like ego.

@BCCI How many allrounders you need who are neither complete batsman nor bowler. Instead, proper batsmen like vaibhav and jaiswal (not in 15) must have played. Tilak is like KL, goes into the hole very often. Prasidh has the highest economy in most of the matches he played.

@BCCI Good vs Great; Big match player & consistency. Like @imVkohli, we have now found two @Vaibhavsooryava, @ishankishan51. Vaibhav just kills the criticals/finals like Australians used to. Gill, KL, Shreyas are still just good players. Jaiswal can be the next gr8; Sanju maybe.
