Why we should pay development fee for an online semester, when our hostel& development fee from previous semester isn't refunded? Our parents are also paying WiFi charges for online classes.

Recently on confirmation with teachers, we got to know that they've been receiving only 40% of salary since April even though students had paid fees for the entire semester.

No electricity, water, infrastr. was usedin the previous semester. Still we pay half of the development fee. Our Parents are being overburden with the economical pressure.
We won't pay for what we don't get.

Why not refunding or adjusting prev sem hostel fees, why still taking developement fees, why mails not being answered, how can we give such huge amount of fees when parents have lost their earnings? ALL QUESTIONS ARE LEFT UNANSWERED! #JAYPEEFEES @DrRPNishink @dmgbnagar @rjraunac
While many families lost their businesses and jobs during covid , @jiitofficial is asking them to pay an unreasonable 1-lakh+ fee, in 15 days! Not to mention that they didn't refund the hostel (unused from starting of march) fee amounting around 37k. #JAYPEEFEES @myogiadityanath
We are not asking for big favours but this is a genuine concern for our parents who are somehow managing to pay full fee amount and WiFi charges even when they are facing salary cutdowns.

Refund last semester hostel fee and adjust tuition fee in this semester and waive off development fee in this semester.
