Last week, the Department for Trade and Investment through Christopher Amor and I drew a close to our two-week Space Industries outreach to the Space centric cities of Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

South Australia’s engagement with all the government and industry stakeholders have bought forth an exciting time and level of partnership which it looks forward to achieving with this dynamic and futuristic sector.

The strides that both Indian government and industry have achieved in Space stands testimony of the vision that they have for the sector.

And it is this vision that South Australia as Australia’s Defence and Space State is looking forward to collaborating with and launching into long-term partnerships.

The Department for Trade and Investment would like to extend its gratitude to all its partners it met with during these two weeks, and we are counting down to launch with each of you.

The Space Week that it has been between South Australia and India!

I am stoked to have my colleague Christopher Amor - Business Development Manager, Space join me here in India and conclude a productive first week in Bengaluru with India's leading government and industry stakeholders in the space ecosystem.

One-on-one engagements and participation at the Confederation of Indian Industry's International Conference on Space provided us the opportunity to showcase South Australia as a long-term investment partner in the space sector.

"We've been overwhelmed at the level of interest by the local companies that we've met with this week; all have been very accommodating and have shown great interest in the depth and breadth of our capabilities, academic institutions, innovation districts and the opportunities for collaboration available in South Australia."

These discussions and the relationships built and nurtured with India's government and industry stakeholders are of great value and importance to the state, and its partnership with India.
