@realMaalouf Presumably no one in Islam has been able to work out that someone with 100x the normal sexual powers and with 70 virgins is unlikely to be completely satisfied.
@GadSaad 10% would be a good initial limit. It's still at the point where the government is taking too much (1 Samuel 8:11-17), but we should at least start by going down to that level.
(Exceptions could be made in times of war or extreme natural disasters).
@Nicklezard You're asking a hard task. How can you explain to a child that giving him or her lots of free things paid for by other people is a bad idea?
@Cr7Godbrand And women tend to have a stronger desire to emotionally connect through talking... does this give them the right to have multiple husbands?
@paulkhammond@j_bambrick Weird how the God who said "Thou shalt not kill" also said that a murderer should be executed. Perhaps you could help God out on his theology and ethics.
@bazinga_smith@PeterMcCormack Create a high minimum wage for immigrants. Most people are happy for a small number of highly skilled immigrants - a high minimum wage for them will accomplish that.
@VoteGreenNorth I'd rather reduce their salaries and keep the food subsidies - I want MPs mixing with one another and hopefully getting to know each other, understand (though not necessarily agreeing with) the other's politics and where possible build consensus on issues.
@PolitlcsUK Hannah Spencer is going to ask a question at PMQ.
Someone writes a joke for Starmer about the Greens.
Starmer doesn't know how to answer the question, but he falls back on the joke anyway.
@firasmodad It's probably existential for Restore as well. If they gain fewer votes than Reform the 'they split the vote' narrative will be much harder to shake off; if they beat Reform, Restore have a good case that Reform split the votes. Better doing this before the general election.
