According to the Vatican Press Office, #PopeFrancis is "in good general condition, alert and breathing spontaneously" after his surgery. Speedy recovery, @Pontifex!

The violence, threats, and intimidation from opponents of the Loudoun School Board are completely unacceptable. No public officials should be treated like this.
@GlennYoungkin and VA Republicans need to stop fanning the flames before people get hurt.

Today marks 54 years since Loving v. Virginia struck down laws in Virginia banning interracial marriage. We celebrate #LovingDay today as an indication of progress in the fight for equal rights.
If @GlennYoungkin refuses to support Virginians' basic right to marry whoever they love, he doesn't deserve to be anywhere near the governor's office.

Happy #Pride2021 ! We celebrate the community and remember the leaders before us who kickstarted the fight for LGBTQ+ equality. Know that you are valid whether you’re out and proud or still in the closet. Celebrate safely and keep an eye out for more Pride info from GMUDems 💙
What a despicable video, and on the first day of #Pride2021. Addressing students by their pronouns is simply treating them with dignity, as any faithful person would want to do.
As governor, I will stand up for teachers like Tanner Cross. I am calling on the Loudoun County School Board to reinstate Tanner Cross fully because they have absolutely ignored his constitutional rights.
If we don’t stand up for our teachers and parents, who will?
Using proper pronouns is about acknowledging the humanity of the person that you’re addressing. It’s particularly mean when you’re addressing children.
This is transphobia masquerading as religious conviction. Horrible that it’s posted on the first day of #Pride2021
Thank you @POTUS for standing up against anti-Semitic violence and intimidation.
“I will not allow our fellow Americans to be intimidated or attacked because of who they are or the faith they practice.”
“Where we choose to invest speaks to what we value as a Nation. This year’s Budget, the first of my Presidency, is a statement of values that define our Nation at its best.” – @POTUS Joe Biden. #Budget
