For years, I watched what millions of Americans watched: the full weight of the federal government brought down on people who were treated like enemies of the regime. People lost jobs, businesses, savings, reputations, and years of their lives fighting the federal government. Some were held for extended periods before trial, families were torn apart, and lives were permanently changed.

But while all of that was happening, Lindsey Graham was not leading the fight against government weaponization. He was defending the system.

Now, after the damage has already been done, he wants to acknowledge there were victims. South Carolina deserves an answer: if Lindsey Graham truly believed the Biden DOJ was weaponized, where was he when Americans needed him most?
