@travispickler @lelanddJG Similar to how Shavkhat handled it spamming the clinch, but I think Islam is more likely to be able to secure the takedown. Islam striking isn’t as dangerous as Shavkhat but I think he’s able to close the range in a more calculated way.

Gaethje was mixing the arts well too with the single legs into a collar tie. much more resistance than ilias usual fights.

He was forced to adapt. he fought well in the second, but then fell off as he got tired, and did not have another level available.
