Agreed! Usually passion projects require high cost development and mostly developers like us can't afford that much. Slop games are the quickest and the easiest way to print money.

Having a group with 4-5 Slop games print hella money. Using that to make high effort games is the best strategy.

@abhi_developerz Agreed, If devs make games niche specific for India or Indian themes or culture, Games can blow up. Out of 1.48 billion indians there are 88 million indian accounts on Roblox.

Take an example of a random new game that showed up on my feed called Indian Village Horror Story.

New tuff game project.

I started solo developing this game today, made the lobby map so far.

It's a horror survival game with a mixed sauce of 99 Nights In Forest and Anomaly games.

Players are Border Patrol Officers and they have to investigate the illegal border crossings!
