Valid excuses are the most dangerous type of excuses.
"I don't have money to start..."
"I didn't go to school... I don't have a degree..."
"I'm working a full time job, I have no time..."
"I tried it before, and it didn't work out..."
These are valid/legitimate excuses.
You stop feeling guilty about standing still.
You stop feeling the urgency to figure things out. And before you know it, months have passed. Then, years.
And the excuse is still there, still valid, still making complete sense, while life and time kept going without you.
@Ekubaba1@the_Lawrenz Hello boss, I'm totally new to this. You fit assist me, I wan join. Not sure if its too late as I'm hearing ac counts are now being flagged here and there.
Not everyone will make it.
"Some people" have been destined not to make it in this life, and there's nothing anyone can do to change that.
You are NOT "some people"
Just do it...
Just write that journal
Just ask for that help
Just post that video
Just read that book
Just call that friend
Just apply for that job
Just learn that skill
Just pitch that great idea
What do you even have to lose?
He that is down...
Needs fear no fall...
@myaimtoget I complained to you people on Instagram about the problem I had and also about you ignoring me on WhatsApp. And instead of rectifying the issue, you chose to delete my comment on your IG post and ignore me.
God.
I can't do this anymore, I thought. As vague images of the dream I had kept dancing in my head
I can't keep cheating on my wife like this!
I got up, wore my clothes
And went back home to my wife.
I turned slowly in my bed, the covers rustling softly beneath me.
My body shifted out of sleep, but I kept my eyes closed for a few seconds more
Half awake, half dreaming.
Then I opened them, just slightly.
And there she was.
Lying beside me.
Her skin still kissed by dawn.
